Alice Frost (1905–1998) was a superb radio actress whose warmth and talent lit up the airwaves for decades. Best known for co-starring as the intuitive Pam North on Mr. and Mrs. North for ten years, and for her five-year run on the beloved soap Big Sister, Frost overcame a strict upbringing and her father’s disapproval to forge a remarkable career. Her journey began with a childhood performance of “Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam” and led her through comedy roles with Bob Hope, Stoopnagle and Budd, and Fanny Brice, as well as dramatic turns on Inner Sanctum, Suspense, The Mercury Theatre on the Air, and Lux Radio Theater. This comprehensive collection of 122 recordings spans over 55 hours, offering a vivid portrait of an actress who believed deeply in the power of intuition—and proved it through every role she played.

• Nearly 90 episodes of Mr. and Mrs. North spanning from 1942 to 1955, including the five-part “Nightwalk” serial and rare AFRS broadcasts, showcasing Frost’s signature blend of wit and mystery as the clever, crime-solving Pam.
